Gyokuro leaves are grown under bamboo screens covered with straw so the leaves take all possible nutrients from the roots before being prepared like sencha. Known as “jade dew,” the blend is richer, milder, more refined – and much-prized.

Use freshly boiled water left to cool to 80°C for two minutes. Brew for 2–3 minutes. Serve.
